April 2012 – #50

Up & Down the Coast

It is with great sadness that again this month Sac-Be is dedicating its newsletter to a loved one. Elsy Bush Romero, beloved wife and widow of Pablo Bush Romero, mother to Laura Bush Wolfe and Myrna Bush, grandmother to Ryan Wolfe and to Gynna and Jason Sainz, and friend to many who shared her love for Akumal, passed on March 19, 2012.

What's New

Reflected in this schedule is a week-by-week look at what Yoga en Akumal is planning. The Web site will stay current, so please check there for the most accurate class schedules.

A reminder, for those of you who love Akumal, is that The Akumalian is the best way to keep up on comings, goings, and lots of information about happenings.

If you live in, or are vacationing near, Playa Del Carmen, check out BuyPlaya's new Events Calendar.

Sac-Be.com and mawacos.com are pleased to share the newest in our video series, Puerto Morelos. The first in the series was about Puerto Aventuras, followed by Akumal. Please let us know what you think and what locations you would like to see added!

Pets of the Month

About Coco's Cat Rescue - With over 14,000 cats and kittens on the streets of Playa del Carmen alone, Coco's Cat Rescue is overwhelmed with kittens most of the time. Coco's is not a shelter. We do, however, maintain a kitten rescue program with space for 15-20 kittens at any one time. Our protocols are strict to keep each rescued kitten in our care healthy. The truth is, we are almost always full, as we constantly rotate a new rescue in as another one finds its forever home. Contact info@cocoscatrescue.org.
