Up & Down the Coast

A friend, Lucy James, posted the following on Facebook. We don't know who the author is, but the words are powerful! "In order to live a long satisfied life full of contentment, happiness, and peace, one must be willing to do the small things and the big things, but all things done out of love. When a person does something out of hate or spite, it is not only deteriorating, but it is also a waste of a person’s time, a waste of time that could be used to make the world a better place, instead of a world that seems to breed more hate."

The president of the Parents' Committee, along with the representative of the Delegado totaled, counted and received it. They said that as soon as the work is done, they would invite everyone involved to the school to document the improvements. Thank you to everyone who supported the school!

Pets of the Month

Lucy was born about September 2012 and arrived at the shelter in September 2014. She weighs about 16 kg, is spayed and current on all vaccinations. Lucy was rescued by a local couple and brought into the shelter as soon as we could make room for her. She is a very affectionate and loving dog. She loves to play and to spend time with humans and other dogs. Lucy is very well behaved, and will make a wonderful companion!

Please consider adopting, or fostering one of our animals at Playa Animal Rescue; they all deserve a loving home. All sponsorships and donations go towards the medical needs, vaccinations, and daily care and feeding of our animals. Please help us help them! For more information about Lucy or any of the dogs of PAR, please email Pat at

A Dolphin's Story
