Up & Down The Coast

Again we apologize for missing our last newsletter and being so late on this one. Our newly designed Web site took us a lot longer that we anticipated. We do hope you will take some time to visit it and let us know what you think. We are especially proud of the new use of videos and the simpler navigation. Thanks for all the kind words and encouragement like this from, as they put it, a Faithful Reader:

"Looks to me all the hard work you doing is paying off, good job! I will be looking forward to the 'new & improved' Sac-Be when it's finished.Thank-you."

It really helps to have the support and contributions of all you. We hope you enjoy the new site. And please let us know if you find a mistake–we should offer a contest!!

What's New

The Akumal road has been completed. For most of you that is great news; for a few it will be the bittersweet end of a bumpy road though, alas, there are still topes! Check out the photos Sherwood Anders shared on facebook.

A reminder, for those of you who love Akumal, is that The Akumalian is the best way to keep up on comings, goings, and lots of information about happenings.

Pet of the Month

Linus, a sweet 3-month-old male kitten, is available for adoption through Coco's Cat Rescue. Linus was found in a park meowing loudly. His rescuer followed the sound, picked him up, and he started purring instantly! Linus loves to play, snuggle, eat, and is a purring machine. Can you give him a forever home? Adoptions to the U.S. and Canada are easily arranged! Contact info@cocoscatrescue.org.

Isha is the little dog that likes to paddleboard. Please check her out on Facebook. We are a bit partial because she looks so much like our Lola and Maya Alux.

Speaking of pets, for those traveling back and forth with your pet here is a great site that Sherwood found for us www.gringodogs.com.
